Copy Protection/CSS decryption

There is no built-in decryption code in 1 Click DVD Copy. The software displays instructions on how to deal with CSS decryption the first time when you put in an encrypted/protected disk. You need to download a program called DVD43 that you can get online for free (the software tells you how to Google for it). Run the setup file to install DVD43 which leaves a happy face icon on your task bar. DVD43 will run in the background and decrypt movies on the fly. Insert the DVD you want to copy and wait for DVD43 to detect it (smiley face turns green). Then start 1 Click DVD Copy to copy your movie. It's that simple!

CPRx Technology

CPRx is a unique and innovative solution to copy new DVD movies which contain bad sectors or bad DVD structure. Many popular DVD movies are now created in such a way as to make it difficult for backup software to copy them properly. This can result in errors during the copy process, or bad playback after the copy is completed.

A number of names have been given to these new techniques to inhibit archival backups, such as Sony Arccos, Macovision Rip Guard, Settec Alpha-DVD and Augs Puppet Lock.
